Member of Winchester City Council since 2014

Friends & Neighbors,

I was born and raised in Winchester, VA and in May of 2020, I will be 43-years old. I grew-up on Eagle Drive in Winchester's Third Ward, formerly the War Memorial Precinct, and have lived on East Leicester Street in the Third Ward since 2003. I have never lived in any other ward in Winchester other than the Third Ward.

I attended Quarles Elementary School, Daniel Morgan Middle School, and John Handley High School. If re-elected I will be the only member of City Council that attended and graduated from John Handley High School, Class of 1996!

I was originally appointed to Winchester City Council in May of 2014 to fill a vacancy that was created when former council member Ben Weber moved out of the Third Ward and could no longer serve on the Common Council. In November of 2014, I was on the ballot and elected to fill the remaining two years of that term. I was on the ballot again in 2016 and re-elected to a four-year term. I am now seeking re-election to my second 4-year term on the Winchester City Council.

Serving the citizens of Winchester on City Council since 2014 has been both challenging and rewarding. I believe the next City Council member from the Third Ward will need to rely on experience and institutional knowledge to guide us through the next four years.

While much has been accomplished during my time on City Council, there is still work to do. I encourage you to view my Platform to learn more about my vision for the City and how business is currently conducted, especially in regards to the lack of Council Committees.

COVID-19 will make this one of the most unique campaign environments in history.  Feel free to contact me via e-mail to set-up a telephone call or a schedule virtual call where you can learn more about me, my vision for Winchester, and the issues you are most concerned about.
